1° day - Cooking class
Arrival at the Colle San Giorgio agritourism and check in; visit of the farm with its ancient olive mill and small exposition of typical farming tools from the ancient traditions.
In the evening, a cooking lesson will take place inside the agritourism: you and a professional chef will work side by side in order to prepare some of the typical dishes of the Abruzzo tradition.
Dinner at the agritourism with natural homemade products.
From Colle San Giorgio you can enjoy the amazing view of the Gran Sasso Mountain and of the sea, on the other side.
All the farming activities of the agritourism follow the methods of biological agriculture in order to respect the environment.
The place is situated near the suggestive village of Castiglione Messer Raimondo that it is worth seeing.
2° day - Bisenti
Breakfast and departure towards the town of Bisenti.
Visit of the village discovering the beautiful architecture of many buildings such as the Santa Maria church in baroque style, the medieval tower and the ancient fountains.
Stop at the Centini chocolaterie known for the quality and peculiarity of its products, such as the famous Montepulciano bonbons or the chocolate with a scent of genziana. All the products are a fusion between first quality chocolate and the typical tastes of Abruzzo.
The entire visit of Bisenti will be in Nordic walking. The walk will continue outside the village, following the guide and teacher Francesco di Donato along an itinerary in the nature, discovering old paths used by shepherds in the past and the typical “tratturi”.
In the evening, return to the agritourism and dinner.
3° giorno - Breakfast and departure
